The world of vampire games is about to get a thrilling new addition with the release of Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, an upcoming thriller-puzzley-investigation-RPG set in the World Of Darkness universe. Developed by Big Bad Wolf, the same team behind The Council, this game promises to deliver a unique gaming experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

My recent preview of Swansong was unfortunately plagued with technical issues, but I'm excited to share my thoughts on what I did get to play and why I'm now even more eager to dive into this game when it's released. The story begins with an attack at a swanky vampire Clan party in Boston, where you'll take on the role of three different bloodsuckers dealing with the aftermath in their own ways.

I had the chance to play through two levels of the game, giving me a broader understanding of how I can approach each scenario. The game's focus on investigation and puzzle-solving is reminiscent of other titles in the genre, but Swansong's unique setting and characters set it apart from its peers.

Unfortunately, my preview was cut short due to technical issues with the remote streaming software, which seemed determined to prevent me from playing the game at all. However, I'm confident that these issues were isolated and won't affect the final product.

Despite the challenges I faced, I'm excited for Swansong's release and the opportunity to delve deeper into its world of vampires, intrigue, and mystery. With Big Bad Wolf's track record with The Council, fans of the genre have a lot to look forward to.
